fds has supported Nabco with its company strategy for over two decades, providing M&A support and succession planning services. This has included delivering two business exits (at different times), which most recently, allowed the previous owners to step away from the business, leaving it in the capable hands of the senior management team and loyal workforce.

fds has worked with Nabco for over 20+ years, which included the sale of Nabco back in 2001 to the then shareholders. 2021 saw fds support and project manage the sale of Nabco to the employees via an Employee Ownership Trust.
Working closely with the shareholders, Poonam carefully considered what was perceived to be important to the team and the business. She did not allow morals and integrity to be compromised throughout the process. As a result of keeping the integrity and DNA of the business, it was agreed that an employee-ownership route would be the best option. Poonam led the successful EOT transition, in which the management team gained direct shares.
In addition to providing a company valuation to support the EOT, Poonam is now a Trustee on the Trust Board. She provides support and strategy guidance from a trustee perspective.
